Membership

Membership dues for the Montgomery County, Maryland AAHGS Chapter are $20/yr.  Membership in the National Society is a prerequisite for membership in the Montgomery County, Maryland Chapter.  Membership dues for the National Society are $35/yr.  The membership year of the Chapter is from January 1 to December 31 of each calendar year.

IN 2015 TWO OF OUR MEMBERS JOINED THE ANCESTORS 

Joseph Douglas, Jr. who was one of the founding members of the Chapter, served as the Chapter Parliamentarian and helped to collect and organize our Chapter's surname research information passed on September 13, 2015.  You can read his obituary here.
